Sarah, who has been a group fitness instructor for over ten years, began her yoga journey in 2007, when she took her first yoga class at James Madison University. She immediately fell in love with the practice, and went on to recieve her 200 hour certification through YogaFit. Sarah is also a certified personal trainer, but of all of her areas of expertise, her greatest passion is teaching yoga.
Sarah’s goal regarding fitness, health and wellness, is to help others find their best self. As an instructor, she is able to fine-tune her classes to make yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. She is a firm believer that the road to wellness is about the journey, not the destination. Sarah aims to create a space where students feel challenged and supported, and infuses her classes with gratitude and humor. She honors the fact that, as yoga students, we come from many different walks of life, but when we step onto our mats to breath and practice together, collectively we can find balance and harmony.
Sarah is excited and blessed to be teaching at Radiance Yoga and thanks her husband and new baby boy for their encouragement and support.
