Meet Elizabeth Strickland
One of the things we love about our Radiance community is getting to practice alongside people we might not otherwise have met, each bringing their own stories, wisdom, and experiences into the room. Those connections are part of what makes this place feel like more than a studio.
One person we’re so happy to know is Elizabeth Strickland! Since joining us in October, she’s been exploring her own strength, learning to trust herself, and making space for the things that bring her joy.
Elizabeth works with Peacehaven Farm and also teaches a monthly gentle yoga class with the Kinward Center.
When we asked what she’s grateful for in this season of life, her answer was simple: peace.
Her intention is upekkha — finding balance and steadiness through life’s ups and downs. And when it comes to self-care? Slow mornings.
One of Elizabeth’s reflections especially stayed with us. Several years ago, when she was wrestling with a career decision that would allow more flexibility in her schedule, she made it to a rare morning yoga class. Somewhere during that practice, she had a moment of clarity. She remembered how much joy yoga brings her and realized how important it was to make space for herself and the things she loves.
Sometimes practice offers us exactly that reminder. Not necessarily a big revelation, but a quiet moment that helps us hear ourselves a little more clearly.
We’re grateful Elizabeth is part of our community and that we get to share this practice with her.
Say hi the next time you see her in the studio! You never know what a small connection might mean to someone.
